Namo Bharat Train Trial Completed: Delhi-Meerut In 1 Hour; Here’s How DND Expressway Will Benefit The Commuters

The trial of the Namo Bharat train from Faridabad to Meerut was conducted on Sunday. With this trial process, it moves a step ahead in the construction of the DND expressway. Once the work is completed, it will become easier for people to reach the Sarai Kale Khan railway station in Delhi from Faridabad.

The length of this corridor is 82 km. According to reports, the entire journey is expected to be completed in one hour. The trials were conducted at a speed of 160 km per hour. The platform screen, doors were checked during this trial, as reported by Hindustan.

According to NCRTC officials, after this begins, the preparations for the regular operation on this route.

DND Expressway

The length of the DND Expressway is 60 km. Currently, the Faridabad section of the expressway has been completed. The 31 km long section has been open to the public.

Currently, people living in Faridabad use the route that goes from Ashram, which takes around one and a half hours to cover the entire distance.

Once the DND Expressway is open to the public, the journey can be covered in 15 to 20 minutes. It will also make it easier for the people to catch the Namo Bharat Train.
