BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul along with other party leaders and locals also held a protest in Kultali, South 24 Parganas, demanding justice for the minor girl.

Expressing grave concerns over the tragic incident, Agnimitra Paul said, “Those who have seen the body of the minor girl, know there were injuries on her body similar to those of Abhaya’s. We will demand the death penalty for the accused and CBI inquiry into the case.”
