Police said the girl’s identity is yet to be confirmed, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased.

53-Year-Old Woman Saved
In another incident, A 53-year-old woman was saved from drowning in the Arabian Sea by a Mumbai police constable’s alertness and timely action. The incident took place on Wednesday near Bandra Bandstand. Reportedly, the woman, who was suffering from a mental illness, jumped into the sea at Bandstand, fearing that someone was chasing her.
According to the Mumbai Police, the woman was rescued by on-duty Police Constable Sainath Devde who immediately dived into the water after witnessing the incident. The woman was semi-conscious when she was pulled out and was admitted to Bhabha Hospital for treatment.
