A love story that started with social media turned out to be a tragic one. A woman strangled her lover to death. The incident took place in Sangram Singh Safai Mohalla under the Dhanpuri police station area in Shahdol district. The deceased has been identified as Suresh (32). The accused Radha Bai (28) was living in a live-in relationship with Suresh for some time. Both Radha and Suresh met on Facebook a few years back. The conversation between them turned out to be in friendship and then a love affair.
Both started living in a rented house in the enclosure of a counselor, Anand Kacher, in Sangram Singh Safai of Dhanpuri police station area. According to the neighbour, both used to fight daily. Increasing tension between Radha and Suresh escalated. One day, the lover, after having drunk, came home and asked for money. Late,r both went to sleep. However, on the same day, both had a massive argument, and after this, Radha strangled his lover Suresh.
After getting information from neighbours police reached the spot. The accused Radha, was arrested by the police.

This heartbreaking incident has once again raised questions about the reality of relationships that are made on social media. This case shows how important trust is in relationships that start online.
In this case, Dhanpuri police station in-charge Khem Singh Pendro said that the accused woman has been taken into custody. He also mentioned that, detailed investigation of the case is being done.
