In the wake of the Kanwar Yatra in Uttar Pradesh, the Gautam Buddh Nagar police have issued a new route diversion plan for heavy, medium and light commercial vehicles. The plan will be applicable for vehicles going from Ghaziabad to Bulandshahr, Hapur, Moradabad and other places. The diversion will be in effect from 11th July 10 pm to 25th July.
DCP Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav said that ambulances, vehicles supplying essential materials and government vehicles will be out of this diversion. The Main Diversion Routes Are As Follows:
- Commercial vehicles going from Chilla Red Light to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad will take the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and then the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Vehicles from Delhi going to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via Noida, via the DND flyover, will also follow the same route.
- Vehicles going from Noida to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via Delhi-Badarpur Border via Okhla Barrage will also follow the same route.
- Vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via NIB, Model Town, Chhijarsi and Taj Highway will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Commercial vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur and Moradabad via the MP-1 route will be diverted to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and then to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Vehicles going to Ghaziabad and Delhi via Dadri NH-91 from Aligarh, Bulandshahr and Secunderabad will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Vehicles going to Delhi via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via Secunderabad and Kasna via Pari Chowk will be diverted to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Sirsa roundabout.
