After a series of issues faced by Air India, which led to an emergency landing in the last couple of days. Now, on Friday evening, an IndiGo flight from Guwahati to Chennai had to make an emergency landing at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport when it ran out of fuel during the flight. Officials said the flight, number 6E-6764, was an Airbus A321 aircraft with 168 passengers on board.
The flight reached Chennai, but was not able to land due to heavy air traffic. Due to this, the pilot in command diverted the plane to Bengaluru and gave a ‘fuel mayday’ call, which allowed it to land on a priority basis.
