While talking to media, She said, “The Congress government gave six guarantees during the Telangana assembly elections. The people of Telangana believed Sonia Gandhi because she had signed the guarantee card. They said that the pension of Rs 2000 will be increased to Rs 4000, the 4000 pension will be increased to 6000 and every woman in Telangana will be given Rs 2500. Even after 18 months of the Congress government, this promise has not been fulfilled. So we are sending thousands and thousands of letters to Sonia Gandhi and requesting her to please order CM Revnath Reddy to implement it.”

Kavitha also urged the state leaders to discuss about the five villages of Telangana handed over to Andhra Pradesh. She wrote on X, ” “Today honourable Prime Minister ji is holding “PRAGATHI AGENDA” meeting with Chief Ministers of four states including AP and Telangana today to discuss Polavaram project. I urge the leaders to give top priority to discuss about villages in Telangana handed over to Andhra. We demand justice for the 5 villages surrounding the temple city of Bhadrachalam. These villages are not part of the submergence and yet merged with Andhra in an unfair manner. I urge the leaders to show empathy towards the difficulties faced by these villagers and transfer them back to Telangana.”
