Police officials also mentioned that designated routes will be provided for dignitaries attending the swearing-in ceremony, ensuring secure travel from their hotels to the venue and back.

Snipers and armed police personnel will be deployed along the routes of the dignitaries, while drones will be strategically stationed throughout the national capital. The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be attended by top leaders from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, and Seychelles. Hotels such as Leela, Taj, ITC Maurya, Claridges, and Oberoi have already come under security coverage.

The Rashtrapati Bhawan, where the event will take place, will have a three-layered security arrangement both inside and outside the premises. Delhi Police’s SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) and NSG commandoes will be deployed around the President’s house and at various key locations.

Around 2500 police personnel, including five companies of paramilitary and Delhi Armed Police (DAP) jawans, are planned to be stationed around the venue, according to an official.

In preparation for the event, there may be road closures or traffic diversions in central Delhi starting from Sunday morning. Enhanced security checks at the borders of the national capital will also be in effect starting Saturday.
