Madhya Pradesh: Amid the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, the Holkar Stadium, located in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, on Saturday received a bomb threat. The sender sent a threatening email to the CEO of MPCA (Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association) to blow up the Cricket Stadium as well as a hospital. According to Tukoganj TI Jitendra Yadav, Rohit Pandit received the threat through an unknown email at 10 am on May 10.
In the mail, written in English and allegedly sent by the Pakistani sleeper cell, who claimed they are roaming in the city, they warned that “those who have carried out Operation Sindoor, do not create such conflicts, otherwise it will not end well…” Following the bomb threat, the stadium was searched by the bomb disposal squad, however, no suspicious material was found during the operation. The matter is also being investigated by a technical team of the crime branch.
In yet another mail sent by the mail ID named ‘Divij Prabhakara Lakshmi’ to MPCA on May 9 at 9.22 am, the sender said, “Don’t mess with Pakistan. Tell your government, we have faithful Pakistan sleeper cells all over India. Your hospital will be blasted for Operation Sindhoor.” The title of the mail reads, “bomb blast in your stadium.”
