Vishnu Shankar Jain drew parallels between the recent order of the Varanasi court and a significant 1983 verdict delivered by Justice KM Mohan. He highlighted the historical significance, likening it to the order issued by Justice Krishna Mohan Pandey in 1983. Jain pointed out that Justice Pandey’s order led to the unlocking of the doors of the then-disputed Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid premises in Ayodhya, considering it a momentous event. Justice Mohan Pandey, a resident of Gorakhpur, was the first judge to issue such an order, allowing worship at the Ram Mandir.
