The terrorists started firing on the joint party of CRPF & Police at Pinglana, Pulwama. So far in this attack, one Police personnel reported to have died and one CRPF personnel received injuries. In response to the attack, reinforcement has been sent and area is being cordoned, says Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Officials told News24 that, terrorists opened fire on joint team of forces in Pingelan Pulwama in which a policeman and CRPF personnel got injured. Both the injured personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where policeman succumbed to his injuries and CRPF personnel is being treated, officials said.
ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that soon after the attack the injured were shifted to hospital and the area of terrorist attack has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
