Commuters vented their frustration on social media over waterlogged toll roads. A user Rajiv questioned, ‘How can an elevated bridge flood? No drainage? Thanks to the construction companies.’

Sunil, another user added, ‘Under the flyover from Allalasandra to Jakkur, broken water hoses cause water to gush down. NHAI needs to maintain these tolled roads to the airport, but there’s no effort.’

Additionally, heavy rain hit several parts of Bengaluru, including the north and east, on Monday evening. Commuters faced difficulties getting home from work, prompting traffic police to issue multiple advisories about traffic diversions.
