Aligarh: A shocking incident emerged from Shivpuri village of the Thana Chharra area, where an iPhone 13 kept in the pocket of a man exploded. During the tragic event, the man sustained severe burn injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He reportedly purchased the iPhone from an authorized showroom a few days ago.
What Exactly Happened?
As per the information received, the man was busy with his work when he started feeling heat in his pocket. As he tried to take out the device, it suddenly exploded with a loud noise. Unfortunately, he suffered injuries to his hand and thigh due to the blast. Following the incident, the victim has expressed deep resentment and talked about filing a complaint in the Consumer Forum (Consumer Court).

Police Launch Investigation
Meanwhile, he mentioned that he had bought the branded and expensive phone only because of trust, but such an accident is a cause for concern. The local police, on the other hand, arrived at the spot and launched an investigation. Additionally, the mobile has been sent for forensic investigation and further action will be taken based on the report.

This incident raises a big question on the safety of mobile and the tech companies. According to experts, blast in mobile can often happen due to battery related problems or negligence in charging. But in this case, since the phone was new, the company can be held accountable.
