The fresh data on electoral bonds were made public by the Election Commission on Sunday, according to the officials.
The records were submitted in sealed covers to the Supreme Court and the apex court was directed to later put it in public domain.
The fresh details on the electoral bonds are believed to be for the period before April 12, 2019, while the details after were made public by the Election Commission last week.

As per the new details shared by the EC, the saffron party encashed electoral bonds worth Rs 6,986.5 crore. During 2019-20, a maximum of Rs 2,555 crore was received.
“While TMC obtained Rs 1,397 crore through electoral bonds. The party becomes the second largest recipient after the BJP”, it stated.

“Additionally, the other parties including YSR Congress redeemed bonds worth Rs 442.8 crore, while Congress encashed a total of Rs 1,334.35 crore, and TDP got bonds worth Rs 181.35 crore”, the data said.
Furthermore, DMK got the electoral bonds worth Rs 656.5 crore, including Rs 509 crore from lottery Future Gaming company. While BJD received electoral bonds of Rs 944.5 crore and it became the fourth largest recipient. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party encashed bonds worth Rs 14.05 crore, Akali Dal got Rs 7.26 crore through it.
