The much-anticipated Telugu film Kannappa has been delayed confirmed in an official statement actor Vishnu Manchu. The film was originally set for release on April 25, 2025. Now, the film’s launch has been postponed to allow additional time for perfecting a VFX-heavy sequence.
Vishnu Manchu Explains the Delay
Vishnu through his official X account have reassured fans that this descision is made to ensure the filmhas top-tier storytelling, technical standards and to give the best experience to the fans. He said that Kannappa deserves to be presented in the most extraordinary way possible, given its deep-rooted mythological significance.
Taking to X (formerly twitter) Vishnu manchu said: “Dear fans, well-wishers, and movie lovers, bringing Kannappa to life has been an incredible journey. To ensure the highest quality, we need a few more weeks to perfect a crucial sequence requiring extensive VFX work. We truly appreciate your patience and support,”
He further added, “This project is a tribute to Lord Shiva’s greatest devotee, and our team is working tirelessly to deliver a spectacular cinematic experience. We’ll soon share an update on the new release date. Thank you for standing with us. Har Har Mahadev!”
