For the unversed, many actors and filmmakers have talked about how OTT has been impacting the theatrical business. While speaking about the eight-week OTT window for Thug Life, he revealed that the team of Thug Life requested the OTT platform to have an eight-week gap for the streaming release. He further emphasised that this move can help other movies too.
He shared, “We requested them, it was not a negotiation or deal breaker. We wanted them to do this for us. Both the company and the OTT platform are experimenting with this together. And if it works, we would have made it easier to do both the businesses.”

While sharing the experience of penning the lyrics of a dance number, Kamal Haasan said, “I enjoyed it because it is very much unlike something I will write.” To this, Mani Ratnam praised him and shared how surprised he was as the actor perfected it.
