After the phenomenal success and massive response on social media, the reality show ‘The Traitors India’ hosted by Karan Johar has been given the green signal for Season 2 by Amazon Prime Video. Ever since its premiere on June 12, the show has garnered immense popularity among the audience.
Based on the international hit format of IDTV and produced in association with All3Media International, the show has now become one of the fastest growing reality shows in the world, with versions in over 30 countries.
The Indian version too has made an impact on the audience right from the beginning. According to Prime Video, it has been watched in over 88% of pin codes in India, and there is a lot of buzz on social media about its twists and drama.
Prime Video India took to Instagram to announce the news of Season 2 being in development. Take a look:

Buoyed by the overwhelming response, we’re thrilled to begin work on Season Two and take the experience to the next level.”
Season 1 features 20 celebrity contestants, including names like Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed.
So far, Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar have been eliminated. Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha are secretly the Traitors and this is not yet known to the rest of the contestants.
New episodes of The Traitors drop every Thursday at 8 PM IST.
