However, many fans do not know Sushant almost became part of many successful movies but things did not materialise.

As per reports, Sushant Singh Rajput was among the actors approached for the lead role opposite Katrina Kaif. Aditya Roy Kapur was finalised for the part of Noor.

Half Girlfriend

Sushant was reportedly considered to star in Half Girlfriend but the role went to Arjun Kapoor. The movie was based on the book of the same name and also starred Shraddha Kapoor.

Ram-Leela

According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali first offered Ram-Leela to Sushant but he rejected it. The movie later went to Ranveer Singh and it became a success.

Bajirao Mastani

Apart from Ram-Leela, Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly also offered Bajirao Mastani to Sushant Singh Rajput but he rejected it.

Romeo Akbar Walter

Sushant Singh Rajput was reportedly considered to play the lead role in Romeo Akbar Walter but he rejected the film due to date issues. He was replaced by John Abraham.

Befikre

Filmmaker Aditya Chopra reportedly offered Befikre to Sushant Singh Rajput but later the project went to Ranveer Singh.

Hasee Toh Phasee

Hasee Toh Phasee, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, was reportedly first offered to Sushant Singh Rajput but things did not materialise.
