Netflix has finally dropped the much-awaited teaser of Squid Game Season 3. The series is set to premiere on 27 June, it promises to be more intense, deadly and emotionally charged than it’s previous two seasons.
A Chilling Start: Gi-Hun’s Shocking Return
The teaser starts exactly from where Season 2 ended. The remaining contestants are seen scared and locked inside a warehouse. Then the tension grows when the pink dress guards arrive and placed a coffin in front of the contestants. To the surprise, they find Seong Gi-hun lying inside the coffin in a motionless state at first. But after few minutes, he opened his eyes marking his return into the game.
The teaser then gets into a new fresh round of the game, featuring a gumball machine which was filled with red and blue balls, hinting at a new level of psychological and physical danger. At the end, a baby’s cry is heard adding a one more layer to the already built suspense.

Returning Characters And New Tensions
Some of the familiar faces return, including detective Hwang Jun-ho and contestants like Player 333 Myung-gi, Player 388 Dae-ho and Player 120 Hyun-ju.
Pink guard No-eul also returns, hinting at deeper conflicts. The trailer makes one thing clear that loyalties will be tested and the choices made will have consequences.
Official Description Hints At Brutality
According to Netflix, Squid Game 3 will follow Gi-hun’s journey to destroy the game after losing his best friend and being betrayed by the Front Man. However as he is preparing to get the revenge, the Front Man is also preparing for his next move.
The teaser logline says ‘graver consequences with each round’ hinting that no one is safe this time.
