Shefali Jariwala death has become a subject of utter despair amongst the fans of the famous ‘Kaata Laga’ song. The lead actress of the song Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away after suffering from a heart attack on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42.
Her funeral took place the following day, on Saturday, June 28, with several celebrities from television and film in attendance.
In a heart wrenching moment during the cremation, Parag was seen kissing Shefali goodbye for the last time before taking her body to the crematorium.
Parag was seen outside their Andheri residence today in the morning, the first time he appeared publicly since Shefali’s funeral. He looked heartbroken and was seen talking to relatives, possibly about the upcoming prayer meeting.

Who Was Shefali Jariwala?
Shefali became a household name after her Music Video Kaanta Laga became a sensational hit. Beyond being a part of the popular song Shefali was also renowned for her participation in reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7 alongside Parag Tyagi. It was in 2019 that Shefali went to Big Boss. She also starred in the show ‘Shaitani Rasmein’.
Talking about films, Shefali was seen in the 2004 film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ alongside Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. She also starred in the 2011 Kannada film ‘Hudugaru’. She was also seen in the web series ‘Baby Come Naa’.
