KL Rahul And Athiya Shetty Name Their Daughter – Here’s Why It’s So Meaningful

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have shared the name of their baby girl. They have named her Evaarah Vipula Rahul. Athiya announced the name on her social media.

She explained that Evaarah is a Sanskrit word that means “gift of God.” The middle name Vipula was chosen to honor Athiya’s grandmother (her nani), and Rahul is taken from her father KL Rahul’s name.

Athiya shared their baby’s name on KL Rahil’s birthday, which was on April 18. Rahul turned 32 on that day, which was a Friday.

KL Rahul Missed First IPL Match for Baby’s Birth

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty had a baby girl in the first week of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rahul missed the first match of the season to be there for the birth of his child. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram on March 24.

Athiya and KL Rahul’s Marriage

Athiya and KL Rahul tied the knot in January 2023 after dating for years. Announcing their wedding in 2023, the couple wrote, “In your light, I learn how to love…” Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness.”

Earlier, while speaking to Nikhil Kamath on his podcast, KL Rahul talked about how Athiya keeps him grounded. He shared, “Having someone you go back home to, who loves me and cares for me regardless of my performance on the field (is always great). She is my safe space, she is my escape, she is a lot of things to me. She keeps me grounded. I am very lucky and grateful.”
