Kartik Aaryan is currently shooting for his upcoming film Sreeleela, directed by Anurag Basu. While filming, he visited Gangtok and Darjeeling and shared photos on Instagram of himself engaged in conversation with several monks.
“Annual Baba conference ❤️ Darjeeling ☕,” Aaryan captioned the carousel post, which showed him enjoying conversations and posing for selfies alongside the monks in the first and the second slide. In the third picture he stood against a wall as the monks sat in front of him. The last picture showed Kartik and two other people looking outside the window as they sat next to each other.
Fans have showed massive love and apperception on the comment section. “Tantrik Aaryan converted to Buddhism,” joked one user. Another added, “Rooh Baba preaching his knowledge,” referring to Kartik’s popular character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Aaryan also visited Gangtok, Sikkim from where he shared a video on Instagram stories showing a huge crowd cheering for him. He wrote, “Thank you Gangtok for massive love, will always remember you ❤️🔥,” and added Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” in the background.
Kartik’s Upcoming Projects
Kartik is also working on another upcoming romantic comedy “Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri,” directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions which is scheduled to release on February 13, 2026.
