Karisma Kapoor Spotted At Airport With Samaira, Kiaan En Route To Ex-Husband Sunjay Kapur’s Prayer Meet In Delhi

Karisma Kapoor was seen at Mumbai’s private airport today, leaving for Delhi with her children to attend the prayer meet of her late ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, who passed away on June 12.

Sunjay Kapur, renowned industrialist and Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband passed away in London during a polo game at the age of 53. His sudden demise came as a shock to his well-wishers. His final rites were performed on June 19 at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi, where Karisma and their children, Samaira and Kiaan, paid their final respects.

Karisma was seen at Mumbai’s private airport earlier today, en route to the capital to attend the prayer meet of her late ex-husband. Karisma was accompanied by her children Samaira and Kiaan both appearing visibly somber.

The prayer meet is scheduled for today, June 22, between 4 PM and 5 PM at Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar and was known for being a prominent name in the automotive industry. He was also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region, which worked in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and three Union Territories under his leadership.

For the unversed, Sunjay and Karisma in 2003 and they have two children. They divorced in 2016 but continued to co-parent their kids.
