John Abrahim is usually one of the few actors who avoids controversies, But recently he made a bold statement about the Russian – Ukraine war while promoting his new movie, The Diplomat.

John Abrahim went on a news show to promote his new movie. Where he shared his thoughts on Russia- Ukraine war and said he is a huge fan of Russia. His movie has been in theaters since Friday.
In an Interview with Aaj Tak , The actor said that ‘he is a big fan of Russia and admires India’s close ties with Moscow. He also mentioned that Russia has always been against NATO expansion towards the east. When talking about diplomacy, he shared his views on India’s position in the Russia Ukraine war. He showed his support towards Russia, adding that the main cause of conflict NATO’S expansion.
He also added that “ I support Russia… of course no one wants war. I don’t want people of both countries to suffer. But for Three decades, Russia has been warning NATO not to expand. No one listened. Eventually, they took action, ”Abrahim said.

John Abrahim is back with an action-thriller packed movie called The Diplomat, which is based on the true story. The film is directed by shivam nair, known for Naam Shabana, also features Actress Sadia Khateeb in a key role .
The film is inspired by the real life ordeal of Indian national Uzma Ahmad, who was rescued and brought back to India to 2017. she claimed to had been lured into traveling to Pakistan, where she was forced into marriage at gunpoint and subjected to abuse. Her harrowing escape and return to India became a major diplomatic event, forming the basis of the film’s gripping narrative.
