Janhvi Kapoor is in the best phase of her life professionally. She has some terrific projects lined up. “I’m shooting for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which I’m very excited about. It’s a reunion with Shashank Khaitan and a reunion with Varun Dhawan and it’s an out-and-out romantic comedy family film which I’m very excited about,” she tells News24 exclusively, on her birthday.
She is also excited about her Telugu project. “I have my film with Ram Charan sir and Buchi Babu in the South in Telugu and I’m so excited to play that character as well so yeah these are my next few films,” she says.
Janhvi has no time to look back and assess her career. “I think I’m still trying to run full speed forward and I’m not giving myself a minute kind of turn -around and look back I don’t think there’s time for that yet I don’t think I’ve done enough to give myself that kind of luxury to retrospect. I think I think I want to do two three more films and then maybe I’ll be able to answer your question about how I feel about what I’ve done so far. I think it’s too soon I think I’ve just about started my sprint,” she shares.
About Her Sister…
Her younger sister, Khushi also made her big screen debut this year with Loveyapa. Prior to that, she was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Archies. Talking about her, Janhvi says, “I think I saw my sister through that entire process of her prepping for and shooting for her debut in Archie’s and I think what I love most about her is her hard work, her focus, her self-assurance and the fact that she isn’t jaded on screen.”
“I think that her warmth and her eyes are just beautiful on screen and I think that I’m so excited for the world to discover her energy on screen because I think that there’s so much warmth and likeability and vulnerability that I know she can bring to the screen .I just I can’t wait for the world to discover her like I am every day,” she ends.
