Priyanka Chopra has teamed up with Prime Video again for an exciting action movie ‘Heads Of State’. The movie also stars Idris Elba and John Cena in the lead roles, who will essay the UK Prime Minister and US President respectively. Meanwhile, Priyanka plays M16 agent, who is tasked to take these world leaders to a secure place after a deadly attack on them.
Sharing the trailer, Prime Video wrote in the caption, “Two heads are better than one. Heads of State is coming to Prime Video July 2.”
According to Prime Video, the synopsis of Heads Of State reads, “In the action-comedy Heads of State, the UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) and U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena) have a not-so-friendly and very public rivalry that jeopardizes their countries’ “special relationship.” But when they become the targets of a powerful and ruthless foreign adversary—who proves more than a match for the two leaders’ security forces—they are begrudgingly forced to rely on the only two people they can trust: each other. Ultimately allied with the brilliant MI6 agent Noel Bisset (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), they must go on the run and find a way to work together long enough to thwart a global conspiracy that threatens the entire free world.”

Heads Of State will release on Prime Video on July 2, 2025 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
The movie also stars Jack Quaid, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, and Carla Gugino. It is directed by Ilya Naishuller.
This is the second collaboration for Idris Elba and John Cena. Meanwhile, Priyanka has worked with Prime Video for her web show Citadel.
