‘Chandu Champion’ Leaves Kartik Aaryan Emotional And Proud, Thanks Fans for Ovation: WATCH

Kartik Aaryan expresses gratitude for the success of "Chandu Champion," embracing the role of a real-life hero and dedicating the film to those who aspire to become champions.

Kartik Aaryan, soaking in the praise for Chandu Champion, released in theatres today, took to Instagram on Friday to express heartfelt gratitude. He admitted that the standing ovation from fans has made him ‘emotional and proud.’ After the screening of the film, he was seen hugging director Kabir Khan inside a packed theatre.

In the new video post, the camera captured Kartik tightly hugging director Kabir Khan after the conclusion of the film screening.  Kartik attended an audience screening and received cheers and a very positive response at the end of the film. He maintained a smile and joined in clapping along with them.

In the caption, he expressed, “I NOW STAND AS YOUR CHAMPION (folded hands emoticon) These claps, these Standing Ovations, they’re stirring up such strong emotions of pride throughout this entire journey. This movie transcends being just a story for me; it’s a transformative journey that reshaped my outlook on life! I’m deeply grateful to @kabirkhankk sir and #SajidNadiadwala sir for entrusting me with this champion’s role. It’s my utmost honor to embody the character of a real-life hero. Murlikant sir, I will forever cherish your guidance.”

He concluded by stating, “This movie is for every Chandu who aspires to be a champion, for every Chandu who can become a champion. #ChanduChampion in theatres now !!”

Kartik portrays former Indian paralympic gold-medalist Murlikant Petkar in the sports biopic. The film also includes pivotal characters played by Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave, Palak Lalwani, and others. The filming of Chandu Champion took place in London, Wai, and Jammu and Kashmir.
