ARMYs, it’s happening! After completing their mandatory military service, BTS made their first comeback in three years on Weverse Live with a bang and that too with the entire OT7: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. It wasn’t just a simple reunion, but a celebration and came with some explosive announcements.
During the live session, BTS officially confirmed their comeback album will be released in spring 2026, in which they will return as a full group once again. They cheerfully greeted fans with, “Hello we are BTS!” and shared the exciting news that millions of ARMYs. They confirmed that all seven members will begin working on their comeback starting this month, July 2026.
In another bombshell update, BTS also hinted at a global world tour along with this album, and said that spring 2026 could be the beginning of a new era. All of this was confirmed by Kim Namjoon, aka the leader of BTS RM.

The live session became a memorable moment in K-pop history, it was watched by over 7.2 million people and received 89 million hearts, making it one of the most liked live sessions of all time.
Meanwhile, BTS is all set to release their first live album, Permission to Dance on Stage Live, on July 18. The album will feature 22 songs from their stadium world tour, including live versions of popular tracks like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey),” and “ON.” Fans can start pre-ordering the album from July 1.
