BLACKPINK member Lisa has scripted history as she will soon perform at the Oscars 2025. The Academy announced this news on their official social media handles and fans can’t keep calm. She will perform alongside popular international artists Doja Cat and Raye, with whom she collaborated for song ‘Born Again’.
Announcing the news, the Academy wrote on Instagram, “Three global superstars. One epic Oscars moment. Doja Cat, LISA of Blackpink, and RAYE take the stage for a showstopping celebration of cinema. Watch the Oscars LIVE Sunday, March 2, at 7e/4p on ABC and Hulu, with Conan O’Brien hosting. Expect the unexpected—only at the #Oscars.”
For the unversed, Born Again is the official track of the show ‘The White Lotus Season 3’. Lisa also released an official music video of Born Again alongside Doja Cat and Raye.
‘The White Lotus’ is a comedy drama show, which focuses on the guests and the employees in the fictional ‘White Lotus’ resort chain. The first and second seasons were set in Hawaii and Sicily respectively. Whereas, the new season is set in Thailand. It is streaming on JioHotstar. Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov and Charlotte Le Bon will be seen in the show.
On the work front, Lisa released her three solo songs ‘Rockstar’, ‘New Woman’ and ‘Moonlit Floor’. She is also gearing up for the release of her album ‘Alter Ego’. Meanwhile, she will team with her fellow BLACKPINK members Rose, Jennie and Jisoo for a world tour.
