In an interview with Siddharth Kannan recently, actress Barkha Bisht opened up about her past relationship with Karan Singh Grover sharing that the two first met on the sets of 2004 teen drama Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi where they developed a close bond which later turned into a romantic relationship. They apparently dated on for almost two years before they got separated.
What Attracted Barkha To Karan?
Barkha fondly recalled what drew her to Karan by sharing, ““Karan was a very kind person, which attracted me to him. He has an inherent kindness, which I got attracted to because people in Mumbai are not always kind.” She also admitted that his good looks and six-pack abs were a little hard to ignore, especially since she was just 23 at the time.
Barkha Reveals Their Breakup Reason
Barkha revealed the actual reason about her breakup with Karan Singh Grover and said, “Nothing went wrong; our perspectives and views on life were different. He was also two years younger than me. As we grew older over those two years, that difference became more apparent, that was the real problem.” She also shared that, “I am still very fond of him even today, and I wish him the best wherever he is.”
After his separation from Barkha, Karan Singh Grover married actress Shraddha Nigam in 2008, although their marriage was short-lived, lasting only a year. He married actress Jennifer Winget later, but that too resulted in divorce. Today, he is happily married to Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, and the couple has a daughter named Devi.
