Apoorva Mukhija On Skipping Cannes 2025
Recently, while interacting with her fans and followers on Instagram, Apoorva revealed that she would not be attending Cannes 2025. During a Q&A session, a user told that people would like to see her walk the red carpet at Cannes next year. On this, Apoorva responded bluntly, saying, ‘Gaali nahi khani’ (I don’t want to be abused).
So, this clearly seemed that she wanted to avoid the online trolling and Unnecessary attention.

Apoorva’s viral comment from the IGL episode had sparked massive criticism on social media. After the controversy, she revealed that she faced rape threats, death threats and abusive messages in her dm’s. The situation escalated to the point where she had to leave her house for safety reason.
After going through months of immense trolling and legal trouble, Apoorva has now chosen not to be a part of any controversy neither she want’s to pursue appearances like Cannes 2025. Her simple yet strong response reflects her current focus on mental peace rather than the limelight.
