Allu Arjun To Play Double Role In Atlee’s Action Drama AA22 x A6? Reports Reveal The Details!

Allu Arjun is set to play a warrior in Atlee’s Rs800 crore project, reportedly set in a parallel universe.

Allu Arjun is all set collaborate with director Atlee in an upcoming action drama .The yet-untitled film, tentatively referred as AA22 x A6, was announced on Arjun’s birthday and is already creating massive buzz among the fans.

According to a reports by Filmfare, Arjun will play a warrior in the film, set within a parallel universe. The film is said to unfold across alternate realities and multiple timelines. There are also rumours that he might play twin brothers, each with a completely different look.

Sources close to the production have revealed figures of the film’s budget. The project is reportedly being made on a budget of ₹800 crore, making it the second most expensive Indian film ever, right after SS Rajamouli’s upcoming SSMB29 starring Mahesh Babu.

Of the ₹800 crore budget, ₹250 crore is being allocated to VFX alone and ₹200 crore will go into production costs, an insider source revealed “The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to position it as a pan-Indian spectacle with global appeal, and with Atlee at the helm + fresh off the Jawan success- the expectations are pretty sky-high.”.

A source close to Pinkvilla had earlier said, “Allu Arjun is being paid a whopping amount of Rs 175 crore approx. along with a backend deal of 15 per cent stake in profits for a project being backed by production giant Sun Pictures, while Atlee will take away Rs 100 crore fees for his 6th film of the career, thus underscoring his brand value and box-office pull.”

Backed by Sun Pictures, the film is scheduled to begin shooting in August 2025.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has also signed another film with Trivikram Srinivas, which is expected to hit the theaters around second half of 2026.
