A 47 year old woman was arrested on Monday evening for trespassing into Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The woman was identified as Gajala Zakaria Siddiqui and is reportedly a Dubai resident and entered the actor’s residence under a false pretext.
According to police officials, the incident occurred around 6 PM, when Siddiqui arrived at the building and told the actor’s domestic help, Sunita Pawar, that she had clothes and gifts for Aditya and claimed she had a scheduled meeting. Trusting her claim, Pawar allowed her inside.
When Aditya Roy Kapur reached home, he was surprised to find the stranger inside the house and told Pawar that he did not recognise her. The staff then called the police, and she was detained.
“We have arrested the woman after registering an offence against her under section 331(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for trespassing and are investigating further,” said a police officer from Khar police station.
This incident comes days after two others trespassing on Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, and just months after an attack on actor Saif Ali Khan in January 2025, where a Bangladeshi intruder stabbed him multiple times in his apartment.
On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen next in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino. The film is scheduled for release on July 4.
