A.R. Rahman Rushed To Hospital Due To Chest Pain In Chennai- Report

Legendary music composer A.R. Rahman was reportedly taken to a hospital in Chennai after experiencing chest pain.

Music maestro A.R. Rahman has been admitted to Apollo hospital in Chennai after he complained about chest pain. According to a report by India Today, Rahman was rushed to the hospital around 7:30 am and underwent some important test.

What Happened?

As per the report,  Rahman experienced discomfort and chest pain prior to being taken to the hospital for medical checks including ECG and echocardiogram. While details of his condition at present remain sketchy, sources indicate doctors are keeping close tabs on him and carrying out necessary examinations. There has not been an official word from Rahman or his family on the incident.

As soon as the news of Rahman’s medical condition broke out, social media platforms were flooded with messages from fans wishing him prayers and well-being. Fans went on Twitter and Instagram, sending their wishes for his quick recovery. The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist has a huge following across the gloss and any news related to his health is natural to create huge concern.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Assures Fans

As of now no official statement has been released by Rahman, his family or his team. However, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has twitted that, “As soon as I heard the news that AR Rahman had been admitted to the hospital due to ill health, I contacted the doctors and inquired about his health. They said he is fine and will be back home soon.”
