New Delhi: In Uttar Pradesh’s Banda, a lover was beaten up by the girl’s relatives who caught him entering the house, thinking that he was a thief. After which, the lover was admitted to a nearby health center as he was bleeding severly.

Afterwards, he was referred to a higher centre for better treatment. The case pertains to a village under the jurisdiction of Bisanda police station.

The injured lover told police that he works as a DJ. He was returning home from work at night. During this, the girlfriend called and invited the man saying that her parents are not at home.

The man reached his girlfriend’s home and started to go inside when teh girl’s brother and father saw him sneaking into the house.

The two prompted to thrash him, mistaking him for a thief. After that, the locals also gathered and assaulted the man. That is when, the girl came and asked everyone to stop after telling them the truth.

Then, everyone took him to the hospital for treatment. However, doctor informed that the man is in stable condition now. The treatment is going on and will be fine soon.

In this regard, Anand Kumar, station in-charge of Bisanda police station, said, “A young man had gone to play DJ. While returning home, he had gone to a girl’s house. Due to this, he was assaulted. A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim youth. The matter is being investigated. Further action will be taken after that.”
