Uttar Pradesh: Work on development projects is in full swing in the district. In such a situation, the plan to build a huge entrance on the border of UP has been approved. It is being told that the construction work on the gate will start soon. The entrance will be constructed near the flyover at the PWD UP Gate towards Dabur. The tender for the entrance gate to be built at Rs 85 lakh has been issued, and its construction work is expected to be completed in one year.
The biggest entrance to the district will be constructed on the State Highway-117 Delhi-Meerut road on the border of UP. Lighting arrangements will also be made for the entrance. Gates will be constructed on both sides of the road leading from UP Gate towards Dabur Tirahe. PWD officials say that its design is being prepared. The design will be almost like the Bhopura border, but due to the eight-line mark, there will be no pole in the middle of the road. Beautification will also be done at the border. There will also be messages written around the entrance for those entering UP and those going out of UP.
