Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam from 30th June to 2nd July, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory. Police said a large number of devotees would be attending Kalyanotsavam on 1st July and Rathotsavam on 2nd July. The advisory outlines restrictions on several routes and guides commuters on alternative options. Commuters must avoid the congested areas around Yellamma Temple, Balkampet.
Traffic Diversions On July 1 And 2
- Traffic approaching from Green lands, Matha Temple, Satyam Theatre, and heading towards Fateh Nagar will be rerouted at SR Nagar T Junction towards SR Nagar Community Hall, Abhilasha Towers, B.K Guda X Road, Sriram Nagar X road, Sanath Nagar/Fateh Nagar Road.
- Traffic coming from Fateh Nagar flyover and going towards Balkampet will be diverted at New Bridge towards Katamaisamma Temple,Begumpet.
- Traffic coming from Green Lands, Bakul Apartments, and Food World will be prohibited from going towards Balkampet. Vehicles will be diverted at Food World X roads towards Sonabai Temple, Satyam Theater, Maithrivanam/SR Nagar T Junction.
- Traffic directed from Begumpet, Kattamaisamma Temple towards Balkampet will be restricted entry and diverted towards Green lands Matha Temple, Satyam Theater – SR Nagar T Junction, left turn to SR Nagar Community Hall.
- By-lanes and link roads from the SR Nagar ‘T’ junction to Fateh Nagar will be blocked.
