Police special cell exposes group involved in cross-border trafficking of arms

As per the information, the group has network across Dubai, Pakistan, Nepal apart from India. The police confiscated 12 semi-automatic pistols, including Zigana, Beretta, and Slovakian pistols from the accused.

Not just that but the police also recovered Nepali currency from the accused. They had SIM card of Nepal, a specialized iron box used for trafficking guns, an i-20 car, a Honda Activa, and five mobile phones.

All of them have been recovered. According to the Delhi Police Special Cell, it has been seen in the last few years that there have been reports of heinous crimes in the capital Delhi and NCR, in which the use of sophisticated ticketed weapons was being done by criminal and gangster-e specials and in the investigation, the weapon was cleared from across the border.

In view of these matters, a team was prepared under the leadership of Special Cell’s DCP Ankit Pratap Singh, in which Inspector Manender Singh, Inspector Sunil Sharma, Inspector Somil Sharma and Inspector Neeraj were given the responsibility of the task.

As the team further investigates, the Technical Servile 202 3d arrives near Ghata Masjid, opposite Shanti Van to deliver a large consignment of weapons to his associates in Delhi.
Including ACP Sanjay Dutt, Sunil, PT Manender Singh, Neeraj Kumar, SI Wasiq Ahmed, SI Rakesh Tomar, SI Surendra Pal, ASI Resham, AASI Vijay Pratap, ASI Uday Ram, HC Sikandar, and St. Prashant set the trap near Ghata Masjid in front of Shanti Van at around 2:45 pm.

Interrogation of the apprehended accused revealed that they were active members of the international arms smuggling network, which was earlier headed by Shahbaz Ansari, resident of Khurja, Bulandshahr. This network was used by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to buy the weapons used in the murder of Sidhu Musewala.
