Delhi Weather Update: The day began with mild temperatures in Delhi/NCR. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a yellow alert for rain, and the weather is expected to undergo significant changes by noon. Meanwhile, the sky will remain generally cloudy today, with light to moderate rain lashing the city. The showers are expected to bring down the temperatures, keeping them below the 40-degree mark.
The much-awaited monsoon has not yet arrived in Delhi, even after the Weather Department has previously issued several alerts for rain. Showers were likely to reach the national capital by June 26. Currently, Delhiites have been experiencing partly cloudy conditions for the past 3 to 4 days.
Delhi Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days
According to IMD’s latest forecast, a yellow alert is in place on 29th June as rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are likely to hit Delhi. Thereafter, on the 30th June, 1st and 2nd June, the sky will remain generally cloudy and showers will bring respite from heatwave conditions. During these times, the temperature will remain between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
