Delhi Pollution: AQI Remains ‘Moderate’ Amid Weather Change, IMD Forecasts Warm Days Ahead

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy sky on Monday with misty morning. The Maximum and minimum temperatures will remain 29 and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.

Delhi Pollution: There has been a noticeable improvement in the air quality of the national capital. The air quality continues to remain in the ‘moderate’ category. This improvement has been attributed to favourable meteorological conditions. The AQI was recorded at 117 on Monday at 6 am, according to the CPCB. Conditions like strong surface winds, better mixing height, higher ventilation index, clear sky (without fog) and rain have led to changes in the air quality index. The moderate air quality level has brought relief to the residents of Delhi from the worsening air pollution.
