A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Tuesday following bomb threat. The flight 6E 2706 was en route from Muscat-Kochi to Delhi. All passengers have been deboarded safely. As of the latest update, nothing suspicious has been found and further investigation is underway.
DCP Nagpur, Lohit Matani said, “An IndiGo flight 6E 2706 from Muscat – Kochi – Delhi made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport after a bomb threat was received. All passengers have been deboarded, investigation is underway, nothing suspicious has been found so far.”

Another Incident
In another incident, passengers onboard a Mumbai-bound Air India flight were forced to deplane on Tuesday after the aircraft faced a technical snag in one of its engines. The plane en route from San Francisco to Mumbai landed in Kolkata at 12.45 am. According to reports, the flight was supposed to depart for Mumbai at 2 am when a technical issue was detected during the scheduled halt. All passengers on board were asked to deplane around 5.20 am.
Amid ongoing technical challenges, Air India faced another setback on Monday (June 16, 2025) after an Ahmedabad-bound flight was cancelled. The AI flight A12493 en route from Mumbai was halted after it experienced delays due to some operational issues. According to reports, the aircraft, meant to be run by an Airbus A321-211, led to the expiry of the crew’s duty time.
