New Delhi: A senior officer of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officially announced the ban on entry and exit at Yamuna Metro Station for the second day in a row. Meanwhile, the interchange facility is available at the station, and other metro services are working normally on other routes.

Yamuna Bank metro station is a key stop on the DMRC’s Blue Line route because it connects Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City (Line 3) and Yamuna Bank to Vaishali (Line 4). The station is also Divyangjan (disability) friendly, featuring three lifts and escalators.

Platform 1 is towards Noida Electronic City, Platform 2 is towards Dwarka Sector 21, Platform 3 is towards Vaishali, and Platform 4 is towards Dwarka.

As officials continuously watch the current scenario, Delhi Metro trains are operating at a reduced speed of 30 kmph as a precaution.

All trains passing under the four bridges on the Yamuna River move at a slow speed. Yamuna Bank (698.8 m on the Blue Line), Nizamuddin (602.8 m on the Pink Line), Kalindi Kunj (574 m on the Magenta Line) and Shastri Park (553 m on the Red Line) are the metro bridges.
