Bengaluru IPL Traffic Alert: Special Arrangements For RCB Vs GT Match; No Parking Zones Declared—Details Inside

To aid the spectators attending the IPL Matches, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will operate buses from the stadium.

Bengaluru IPL Traffic Alert: Traffic restrictions will be in place on Wednesday around the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The traffic arrangements have been made in view of the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT). Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) have made required arrangements, designated parking zones, no parking areas, pick-up and drop-off zones and bus routes. The traffic restrictions will be in place from 3 pm to 12 am on all match days at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

No Parking Zones

The Bengaluru Traffic Police have marked following areas as no parking zones and vehicle parking is strictly prohibited on these roads.

The areas include: Queens Road, MG Road, MG Road to Cubbon Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Central Street Road, St Mark’s Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road, Ambedkar Veedhi, Trinity Junction, Lavelle Road, Vittal Mallya Road, King Street, and Nrupathunga Road.

Bengaluru IPL Traffic Alert: Parking Areas

The Traffic Police have further declared parking areas to facilitate spectators coming to the stadium. Parking areas have been marked at St Joseph’s Indian School Ground, UB City parking lot, 1st Floor BMTC TTMC Shivajinagar, Old KGID Building, King’s Way (inside Cubbon Park), and St Joseph’s Boys High School basement.

Pick-up And Drop-off Zones

Cubbon Road (From BRV Junction to Chalukya Circle) has been designated as
Pick-up and drop-off zones.

These traffic restrictions are applicable on following match days also:

April 2: RCB Vs GT
April 10: RCB Vs DC

April 18: RCB Vs PK

April 24: RCB Vs RR

May 3: RCB Vs CSK

May 13: RCB Vs SRH

May 17: RCB Vs KKR

Furthermore, to aid the spectators attending the IPL Matches, the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will operate buses from the stadium.

SBS-1K: Kadugodi Bus Station (HAL Road)

G-2: Sarjapur

G-3: Electronics City (Hosur Road) 

G-4: Bannerghatta National Park

G-7: Janapriya Township (Magadi Road) 

G-10: RK Hegde Nagar, Yelahanka (Nagavara, Tannery Road)
