Checking your Employee Provident Fund (EPF) balance is now easier than ever. The Employee Provident Fund Organisation has made the process of checking your Employee Provident Fund balance. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) offers multiple user-friendly digital methods which makes it easier for users to check their balance.
Here Are The Different Methods Following Which You Can Check Your EPF Balance:
EPFO Portal:
- You need to visit the official site of EPFO- www.epfindia.gov.in.
- After this, you need to visit the ‘Services’ and click on the option ‘For Employees’.
- From there, you have to choose ‘Member Passbook’.
- Then a new window will appear where you have to enter your UAN, password, and captcha code.
- After this, you can download the EPF passbook.
Through Umang App:
- For this, you need to download the UMANG Application from the Google Play Store.
- After this, you need to register using your mobile number.
- Then you need to open the main menu in the application and select ‘EPFO’.
- After this, you need to click on ‘Employee Centric Services’.
- Then you have to click on the option ‘View Passbook’.
- After this one need to enter the UAN to check the account details.
Using SMS:
- You need to open SMS and write-EPFOHO UAN.
- Then send this message at 7738299899.
- After you will get a reply from them regarding your EPF balance.
Through Missed Call:
- One needs to dial 9966044425 from the registered mobile number.
- In a couple of seconds, you will get an SMS showing the recent EPF balance.
By Logging In Using EPFO Member E-Sewa Portal:
Visit the official site of EPFO member e-sewa-https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. Then one needs to log in using the UAN and password. After this click on the view option from the dashboard. Then select the option of passbook to check your contribution history.
