Range

In its top variant, the F77 boasts a range of 307 km on a single charge. It is also said to have a top speed of 150 km/h. We expect the Ultraviolette F77 to be priced above Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Pre-bookings for the electric motorcycle began on October 23. Last month, Ultraviolette claimed the F77 had received more than 70,000 advance bookings from 190 countries.

The F77 was originally introduced back in November 2019. Its deliveries were supposed to start in the third quarter of 2020. However, the company’s plans took a big hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Battery

According to Ultraviolette, the F77 has 2.5 times the battery capacity of existing electric two-wheelers in India. The complete battery architecture and battery management system of the electric motorcycle were designed and developed by Ultraviolette.

The F77 battery has been subjected to accelerated aging and thermal stress testing, the company claims. The company said it went through five generations of battery development and 14 generations of BMS improvements for the F77.
