Besides the Ultraviolette Tesseract Ultraviolette has also launched a new adventure oriented bike being named as the Shockwave. The bike has been launched at a price of Rs 1.75 lakh. But the introductory prices that the bike has been launched at has been Rs 1.50 only for the first 1000 customers.
The Ultraviolette Shockwave is powered by a 14.5 Bhp Electric Motor paired with that of a 4 KWH battery pack. The Motorcycle offers IDC range of about 165 km on a full charge and beyond that can easily sprint from 0 to a 60KPH in only 2.9 seconds. As per the specs that have been shared by Ultraviolette the bike has a maximum torque of 505 Nm along with a curb weight of only 120Kg.
Traction Modes
The Shockwave would offer the users with four traction modes as well, these would have varying dual channel ABS and Six levels of Dynamic Regen. Beyond that the Brand have also launched a new concept of motoring gears that is meant for riding through the Indian Hot weathers. These jackets include a Peltier system in which 5 Peltier fans have been placed in different areas of the body to keep it cool during the hot weather riding escapades. Ultraviolette would soon begin the production of the Jackets soon.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea
The Flying Flea is one of the first motorcycles to integrate Qualcomm high tech technology via the Snapdragon Car To Cloud Platform. Mario Alvisi, The Chief Growth officer of Royal Enfield spoke on the matter. He talked about how most of the tech that goes in the Flying Flea has been developed by Royal Enfield themselves but the integration of the Snapdragon Qualcomm technologies is a significant step towards the future of the company. The QWM2290 SoC from Qualcomm has been specifically designed to support EV two wheelers. The chip would play an integral role in empowering the vehicle control unit, running an inhouse operating system developed by flying flea. Such advanced integration and operating system allows the user to manage all aspects of their bike and its ride through the interactive true round TFT cluster.
Riding Modes
The Motorcycle would come with five pre set modes. And enable the rider to choose between them as per the use they have. Beyond that the integrated screen would provide the users with the capability to use google maps, and other functionalities while riding. 4G operability along with advanced connectivity are some of the other features that have been added to the new Bike.
