After the recent inauguration of the Experience Centre in Mumbai, Tesla has launched the all-new Model-Y in India. After an extended period of negotiations between India and United States over the tariffs, the company has finally sought to enter Indian and sell an imported version of their Model Y in the subcontinent.  The Model Y is now available in long-range as well as a standard version. Its starts at Rs 59.89 lakh ex-showroom, while the top trim has been priced at Rs 67.889 lakh ex-showroom.

Tesla Model Y Range and Features 

The Tesla model Y has a WLTP range of 500Km and can sprint from a 0 To A 100Kh in 5.9 Seconds. There is a long range version as well with a WLTP certified range of 622Km and a 0 to a 100 kph  acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. Both the models will have rear wheel drive and will be able to charge at a rate of 25Kwh. Tesla is planning to set up 16 superchargers in India with eight initial ones coming up in an around Delhi and Mumbai.

Tesla Model Y Features and Warranty 

Tesla has left no stone unturned to make the car tech-savvy; it houses a 15.3-inch central touchscreen, powered, heated, and ventilated driver and front passenger seats, powered 2-way folding heated rear seats, a 9-speaker audio system, an 8-inch rear touchscreen, and ambient lighting. Beyond these, the panoramic sunroof as well as the heated steering, windshield, and dashcam further enhance the appeal of the interior. Customers will also be able to opt for the vehicle with the famed autopilot feature, for an additional Rs 6 Lakh. 

Tesla is offering the users with a 4-Year or 80,000 km warranty , whichever is earlier on the entire vehicle. The battery as well as the drive unit are available with a 8-year or 1,92,000 km warranty, whichever is achieved earlier.
