Tata has been able to gain a formidable recognition in the EV sphere thanks to their affordable EV’s such as the Punch as well the Nexon. But this time around the brand has launched the all new Harrier EV at a price of Rs 21.49 for the basic adventure variant. The prices of the other variants would be revealed when the car goes on Booking in 2nd of July. The Harrier EV would compete against the likes of new Hyundai Creta EV as well as Suzuki E Vitara. Tata had showcased the prowess of the vehicle in a detailed launch event and has equipped with a with a slew of new upgrades and segment first features. The car would be available with two battery options a 65kwh Battery pack as well as a 75 KWH battery pack.
Upon its launch, the car would go against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric, and Maruti Suzuki E- Vitara. While the E Vitara has a rear wheel drive module in select trim levels the Hyundai Creta does not have any, all-wheel drive option. 75KWH battery pack and the AWD capabilities would ensure that the new Harrier has a gradeability of 50 degree angles. Beyond the other additions, the car would also get a 12.3 inch free standing screen along with ADAS level 2 assisted safety level features.

The Tata Harrier EV has been based on the advanced Acti.EV Gen 2 electric vehicle architecture. featuring AWD,. The architecture is renowned for providing high structural integrity to vehicles and ensure high safety rating.
Tata Harrier EV is expected to deliver 500NM of torque with a dual-motor setup, making it an AWD. The Harrier EV is also expected to deliver over 500KM range on a single charge.
Tata provides the Curvv EV with a 7.2 Kw Ac charger that is meant for your charging with residence connection. Since the Harrier EV is expected to be launched with a bigger battery than that of the Curvv, would Tata replace the charger with a more powerful apparatus, it would all be revealed soon. With the 7.2 Kw Ac charger the Curvv EV 55KWH version takes a full 21 hours to charge, its possible that the new Harrier EV might take more time.

Leaks and revelations have revealed that the Tata Harrier might be launched with a all new 75 KWH battery.
