Suzuki Fronx the crossover version of the Baleno hatchback has now been launched with an all-new level 2 ADAS capability. The made in India Fronx is currently being sold in more than 70 countries globally. These include continents such as Africa and Latin America. The Fronx was recently tested by Japan NCAP, and while under test, the vehicle was able to score a safety rating of four stars. The vehicle was able to score an overall score of 163.75 out of 193.8 points in the Japan NCAP crash test. Beyond that, the car was able to score 76.33 points out of 100 points.
The Suzuki Fronx in India is starts at a price of Rs 7.54 lakhs and goes up to the Rs 12.90 lakh. While the New level 2 ADAS features have made their way to the Indonesian spec vehicle already, they would soon make their way to the Indian version as well. This would further add to the overall safety of the vehicle while on road.
Indonesia-spec Suzuki Fronx
The Indonesian version of the Suzuki Fronx is powered by a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine compared to the 1.2 litre petrol engine that powers the Fronx in India. The K15B petrol engine paired with a slew of transmission choices that include a Five-Speed manual gearbox and a Four-Speed automatic unit. The 1.5 litre engine churns out 102 bhp peak power and a maximum torque of 138 Nm, and the other 1.5 litre K15C engine generates 98 bhp and peak power of 135 Nm torque. The engine is available with a Five-speed manual gearbox and six-speed automatic transmission options.
