Schools farewells are often preceded with decorum and a rational outlook to let the students enjoy last days of school. But a recent farewell by students in Haridwar took a diabolical turn.
After the Farewell was completed the students participated in reckless car stunts and fired gunshots in the air. This led the police to be on a high alert and investigate upon the procession.
The Car Stunt Rampage
As per news reports students of a reputed school in Uttarakhand went on a rampage performed dangerous stunts and fired in the air to possibly commemorate their farewell. The Video of the event went viral and has became a topic of growing concern.
The “Haridwar Farewell Video”
As seen in the video around 70 students gathered in a group right outside the Haridwar BHEL stadium and formed a convoy of cars. The procession of the students formed massive disruption, and if that was not enough students also fired gunshots into the air.
As seen in the video, the students were still in their school uniform while performing the so called stunts. Beyond that a few even stood on the roof’s of moving vehicles to record videos. One student openly fires into the air while being recorded on a phone camera as well.
Police Takes Action Against Car Stunts in Haridwar
The superintendent of police -Parmendra Singh Dobal took swift action against the delinquencies and registered a case against the unidentified people under relevant sections. As of yet a few culprits involved remain to be identified.
The Students participated in the chaos after attending a farewell party at a hotel in the Haridwar Sidcul area. Local Authorities have assured that the involved students would be identified soon and appropriate legal action would be taken against them.
Penalties Against Car Stunts in India
If in case a a video proof of the stunt exists on social media police can trace it and levy heavy penalties online on your registered car number. In such cases often the video that is recorded for novelty purposes becomes the proof of misdemeanor in the court.
